At Valley Grove, we do this in three distinct ways:
Gather
When we GATHER, we worship the living Lord through fellowship, music, prayer, and the systematic study of God’s Word. In our gatherings, people are encouraged to respond to the Gospel message and commit their lives to Jesus Christ.
Grow
We don’t get together just for fun and fellowship. Every Bible study group and every worship service is designed to present practical teaching that is applicable in your daily life…in whatever walk of life you may be engaged.
Go
Ultimately, we believe that after we GATHER and as we GROW, we will GO into the world to carry the Good News of Jesus Christ to others. Valley Grove seeks to provide opportunities for that service through local mission projects as well as international opportunities for carrying the Gospel to the world.

Our Core Beliefs
Using the Great Commission as our “Mission Statement,” VGBC seeks to win the entire world to faith in Jesus Christ…beginning in Seymour/South Knoxville, TN and continuing around the world until every person has heard the Good News. What to Expect
- Plenty of Guest Parking is available on the front row of the parking area across the street from the main sanctuary.
- If you have young children, there is a convenient drive-through in the rear of the building that serves both the nursery and children’s classes.
- Our worship is a comfortable blend of traditional hymns and modern worship songs.
- Our offering time is primarily for our members and regular attendees.
- Dress comfortably. You’ll see attire that covers the spectrum from formal to casual. We’re just glad you are here!
