Serve

We have a scandalously merciful Savior and an incomprehensibly glorious God. If we are a sinfully lost people, and we are, and if we have a scandalously merciful Savior, then there is only one conclusion: We have an indescribably urgent mission.

Throughout Scripture, we read that God is a Sending God. He sent His Son to bring hope, restoration, grace, and justice. And He sends us. He sends us to our community, our nation, and our world, to bring that same hope, restoration, grace, and justice. He sends us to speak and act in the love of the Savior, Jesus.

We are committed to going locally, nationally, and internationally, until all have heard and the mission is complete.

National

Valley Grove is working to build national partnership with churches and church planters across the United States. During the month of March, we receive a special offering that is forwarded to the North American Mission Board (NAMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention that uses the money in various mission endeavors across the United States. In September, we receive an offering that is forwarded directly to the Tennessee Baptist Convention for ministries within our state.

More information coming soon on opportunities to “GO,” serving with short term projects within Tennessee and across the USA.

Global

National boundaries are only dots on the map, and as we go, we must be willing to go to the “hard” places for the sake of the Gospel. With partnerships in South Asia and Central America, Valley Grove is committed to sending individuals and families for short, medium, and long term missions. Email Eddie Christenberry for more information on the following mission experiences. In addition, every December, we receive a designated offering that is forwarded to the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention that is used for missions around the world.
