Our Story & Leadership

Founded in 1895, Valley Grove Baptist Church is a vibrant legacy church in South Knox dedicated to gathering as God’s family, growing in His Word, and going out to make disciples. Led by Senior Pastor Evan Holbrook, our church blends a deep, rich history with an unshakeable belief that our best years of ministry are still ahead.

Under Pastor Evan’s leadership, Valley Grove is passionate about reaching Knoxville and beyond with the life-changing good news of Jesus Christ—equipping believers to live on mission through authentic, real, and honest faith both inside the church walls and across our community.
