Trunk or Treat 2020 – Heroes Unmasked
JOIN US!
On Sunday, November 1 from 4:00 – 6:00 as we share the Good News of Jesus by hosting a Trunk-or-Treat in the upper parking lot of VGBC. Our theme is “Heroes Un-Masked: Searching for the Greatest Hero”.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We need volunteers to sign-up to bring their cars decorated in their favorite (secular) HERO theme! Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, so BE CREATIVE! From superheroes like Batman and Superman to princess heroes like Elsa and Anna to your favorite storybook heroes, we are going to learn that all these heroes can help point us to the true hero of Jesus Christ.
Please contact Pastor Josh or the church office to sign up to bring your decorated car and let us know the theme that you will be using. Each car will need to be prepared to hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Cars do not need to have additional activities. Your team is encouraged to dress up as part of your vehicle’s decorations!
If you can’t commit to decorating a vehicle, we will need help with food, greeters, and traffic. Again, please contact the church office if you’re willing to serve in one of these areas.
