Music and Worship
The ministry of music and worship at Valley Grove Baptist Church exists to give glory to God. It's purpose is three fold:
First, the music provides opportunities for the people of God to praise and worship our Lord! Throughout the old and new testaments, the act of singing is used to lift up the Lord in worship.
Secondly, the good news of the gospel is expressed through singing. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit would take the gospel message in a song and penetrate the heart of the listener.
Last, but not least, we are commanded to teach and admonish (encourage) one another with Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our hearts to the Lord (Colossians 3:16).
Valley Grove Baptist Church desires to use the tool of music as a vehicle to carry the truths of God's word to a world seeking hope. Join us as our quest to be a people of praise.
